Brand Focus: Juice Beauty

Today I am doing my first ever Brand Focus post! This is a post where I focus on one specific brand, give a little detail about that brand, what products they make, and give reviews on specific products I have tried from that brand.

For the first ever Brand Focus I will be discussing the skin care brand Juice Beauty. The big thing with this brand is that they use organic ingredients, which is great for someone who is interested in trying organic skin care products. The brand was founded by an entrepreneur named Karen Behnke who built one of the very first wellness companies in the United States. Her interest in personal care  products stemmed from her first pregnancy and she wanted to find a healthy skin care line that actually worked. When Karen was unable to find healthy products on the market that worked she decided to create her own line of organic skin care. She worked with chemists and microbiologists for five years until she was able to help create organic skin products that produced results. Today many of her products are award winning and do not compromise the well being of the Earth.
(All of this information and more can be found on the company's website).

Cleansing Milk-$22

This is a great cleanser. I originally got a sample size of this product (which the sample size is pretty large on its own and goes a long ways) and really liked it! This is the cleanser I always use whenever I wash my face with my Clarisonic. It is a nice milky consistency that helps dissolve any makeup or grime on my face and leaves my skin feeling super soft. The only downside to this product is that it smells absolutely horrible. I would describe the smell of most Juice Beauty products as being similar to the scent of rotting apples. While that may not sound appealing I will say that the scent is not enough to detour me from using their products.

Green Apple Peel Sensitive-$39

This stuff is a holy grail skin care product for me! If you decide you want to try something from Juice Beauty I recommend that it be one of their Green Apple Peels. When I first tried this product I was really scared because I have somewhat sensitive skin and chemical peels had left me with red blotches all over my face after I used them. This product however did none of that. I will warn you that this will make your skin tingle slightly and your skin will most likely be a little red after using it. However, once your skin calms down you are left with super soft skin that looks so much brighter. This has really helped minimize some scars I have on my face thanks to all the hormonal acne I had in high school.

Soothing Serum-$36

If you are someone who tends to have an issue with red skin I would recommend trying this product out. Massage 4-6 drops of this all over your face and let it sink in. I find that this serum not only calms any redness I have but it also moisturizes my skin and leaves it feeling so soft that all I want to do is caress my face. When used sparingly this serum can last for quite a long time and is well worth the investment.

Southing Eye Concentrate-$29

I find eye cream to be such a hard thing to review because you won't really know wether or not it worked until 20-30 years down the road when you should start getting crows feet around your eye area. What I can say about this product though is that it feels very cooling when applied to the under eye area and wears great under makeup.

Overall I would give Juice Beauty a 4 out of 5 rating!

Have a great day y'all!
