Blogmas Day 5: A Relaxing Night

I love having a nice relaxing night during the colder months! I have some of my most used Holiday Relaxation Essentials and believe me when I say a nice bath is the perfect way to end a long day full of studying for finals. So here is how I pamper myself during a night of relaxation!

When I am wanting to unwind after a long day I always take a bath! During the holiday season I like to mix Philosophy's Spiced Gingerbread Cookie Shower Gel, Shampoo, and Bubble Bath with Lush's Golden Wonder Bath Bomb. I love mixing scents and love using both a bubble bath and bath bomb for my bath. When I am sitting in the tub I love watching Youtube videos that I have added to a specially made playlist. Wine is also a bath time essential as well!

When I am relaxing in the tub I like to exfoliate my skin. My skin can get pretty dry during the winter and I love using the Giovanni Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub. This stuff smells amazing! If I could I would eat it because this stuff smells like I am smearing chocolate all over me. If you want a great body scrub I really recommend this stuff because it makes me crave a cup of hot chocolate when I use it. To go with the sweetness of the body scrub I love using Philosophy's Christmas Cookie Shower Gel, Shampoo, and Bubble Bath as my shower gel. I love smelling like baked goods on cold nights. The only downside is that  after my bath I crave Christmas cookies!

When I am sitting in the bath I like to multi task and I do a face mask. Since my skin has been super dry thanks to the cold Chicago wind I have been using St. Ives Smooth and Nourished Oatmeal Scrub and Mask. This is a great multi purpose product. After my bath I wash off my mask and use Lush's Buche de Noel Facial Cleanser to scrub away any dead skin on my face. I love the smell of this facial cleanser and it makes my skin glow!

After my bath I finish up my odds and ends. I use Philosophy's Sugary Cinnamon Icing Body Lotion to moisture my dry winter skin. This stuff pairs nicely with the other Philosophy products I used during my bath and this lotion actual comes in a set with the Spiced Gingerbread Cookie Shower Gel. I finally finish up my night of relaxation routine by applying a light amount of Lush's Santa Baby Lip Tint to keep my lips moisturized. I then spend the rest of my night reading a good book before I get a good night's sleep!
