My name is Sarah Jessica and I am glad that you have stumbled onto my little blog. I am creating this blog for a lot of reasons. One of them being that I am an avid beauty blog/Youtuber lover. I can literally read blogs about lipstick for hours or spend a good part of my day learning what I should pair that maroon floppy hat I just had to have with. The Internet has turned the beauty industry into a very fascinating thing. Beauty is more relatable when you have a young girl, woman, or even man giving their honest opinion on the products they buy and use. I respect individuals who bare it all in order to help the younger generation realize that they do not have to mesh perfectly into society's idea of beauty. These bloggers/Youtubers are redefining what beauty is. They are beautiful.
I have always wanted to be a part of that community, because I want to contribute to this new idea of beauty. And I believe I have my very own unique approach (as does everyone) as to what I see as beautiful...and of course what really gets rid of/reduces those pesky breakouts during that unfortunate time of the month.
Another reason I am creating this blog is because I'm an L1 law student living in Chicago and I need a stress reliever. I love law school, I do, but I am just one of those people where I need to do something else with some of my time besides learning how to legally give someone a gift (I will never look at Christmas the same way again) or memorize all of the restatements of Contract law. It may seem boring (it really can be) but law school has given me the push I need to start this blog and keep with it. I'm excited for what is to come.
So what is the Laws of Beauty Blog all about? Well let me start first by saying that the name of this blog was inspired by my law education and my love for beauty. Don't worry these are not actually laws, just mere suggestions, ideas, reviews, and advice on what works for me and what could possibly work for you. This blog will deal with beauty, fashion, travel, food, DIY, life, and so much more. I really want to make this my little hub of creativity and just have fun with it. I want my readers to feel like this is a community, a place where you can voice your opinion, likes, and dislikes about what I have wrote. I want this to be a place for respectful and insightful conversation. But most of all I want this to be fun not only for me but for my readers as well!
I am excited to make this journey with you!
The very best,
