October Favorites 2014

The month of October is coming to a close and that can only mean one thing...it is October favorites time! I have quiet a few favorites this month and had to narrow down my picks to my top 10! I'm sad to see October come to a close (even though I had bronchitis for the entire freaken month) because that means that the days are getting shorter and the nights colder! In November I look forward to drinking lots of hot apple cider (with a shot of Fireball whiskey of course) while curling up under a large pile of blankets and watching football or hockey! What are some of your favorites for the month of October? Comment below and let me know! I love hearing what products other people are loving.

Not only is the packaging super cute but for me this scent screams Fall time! It has a very spicy scent to it and when I think Fall I think spice. This scent is described as a mix of Indian White Sandalwood, Creamy Almond, and White Musk.

This lip liner is the perfect color to wear on its own or underneath a nude pink color! Nude Pink or Rose Shades are my favorite lip colors to wear all year round, especially during the Fall. The lasting power of these lip liners was surprising to me the first time I used them considering how inexpensive these are. I will be buying more of these in different colors to make my lipstick last longer throughout the day!

 Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil
This is my favorite new skin care product! I don't wear much makeup on a regular basis but I wear eye makeup everyday and this stuff really helps remove mascara and eyeshadow. I just simply apply two pumps of the oil to dry skin and rub until my makeup begins to breakup and I have major panda eyes. Then I just wet my hands with a little bit of water and continue to rub my hands over my face. The water will make the oil turn into a milky consistency. I really recommend this product as the first step to your evening skin care routine! It really is a game changer.

Not only does this stuff smell amazing but it does help detangle my hair! I picked this up at Target and have been using it on damp, towel dried hair.

This nail color is something different from what I normally wear which is why I love it so much! In certain lights it looks like a sparkly orange color and in other lighting it looks like a bronzy color. When I wear this nail polish it reminds me of pumpkins and the leaves changing colors. I love how smooth the Butter London Nail Lacquers apply!

This Clarisonic is what I have been searching for in order to make my skin feel more refreshed at the end of the day.  I feel like I am getting both a clean slate and a face message when I use the Mia 2. This was a splurge for me this month but I have to say if you are going to spend money on anything I would recommend picking one of these bad boys up! It helps give your skin a deep clean which allows you to keep your canvas (aka your face) breakout free! Plus the Mia 2 comes in a variety of colors!

How I went for so long without this pallet I will never know. Since I have purchased this pallet I have used it every single day! I love using the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze as a base all over my lid and then packing the color Naked 2 on top of that. I then apply Faint in my crease and blend it out. I finish the look by applying Crave lightly to my bottom lash line. This pallet is great for a simple, fast, and easy everyday makeup look. The only downside to this pallet is because I am so pale, Foxy and W.O.S. blend into my skin tone, as you can see in the above picture. But that in no way lessens my love for this amazing matte pallet! If you are looking for a great pallet to start your makeup collection with I HIGHLY recommend this one.

I was more than a little excited when I discovered that Beauty.com carries theBalm products. I have been searching for this highlighter high and low since Estee (essiebutton on Youtube) raved about this product on her blog and in her videos. And she was right, this product is a holy grail highlighter! I don't know what it is about this stuff but it literally makes my skin glow, which I know is the point of a highlighter, but this stuff just makes my skin look 10x better than when I go without it! I really love this product and recommend it to anyone who is frightened by the idea of using highlighter powder. This stuff may look intimidating but I promise you that with the right brush and a gentle touch you will be looking like a glowing Grecian goddess in no time!

I love this product not only because I am obsessed with the packaging but also because I love the color of this blush. I prefer cream blushes to powder blushes all year round and this blush gives my skin a nice natural flush. Just apply lightly with a stippling brush and you are good to go!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer in Brightening
I loved the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Fair, but this product in the shade Brightening is the new under eye concealer love of my life! I am one of those lucky few who does not have horrible under eye circles, my eyes tend to get more puffy due to lack of sleep instead of darker. This product makes me look so much more awake for my 8:30 am classes (classes before 9 am in law school are cruel). I apply this underneath my eyes using the triangle method so that my skin looks brighter which in turn makes me look more awake.
